Fungi for Sustainability
Environmental Education
The purpose of our environmental education is to encourage and support future conservation leaders early in their careers. We foster appreciation of fungi, animals, and plants in their respective ecosystems, while teaching tangible STEM skills that can be used in any science field.

Highlights from 2018
Zoom Out Mycology defines sustainability as:
Not disrupting ecological balance by depleting natural resources. Our team understands that humans are part of the natural environment rather than above it. Together we lead mushroom farming projects around the country that enhance food security in communities that need it most, brings about new jobs, adds to the local food system and improves community health.
We donate 50% of our mushroom tea profits to one annual soil conservation project.
