To “Zoom Out” is to look at the big picture of sustainability including social, environmental, economic and institutional tactics for making or reducing an impact. We serve mushroom tea to the public, introducing countless community members to their first experiences with medicinal mushrooms. The 36th Annual Mushroom Festival
Zoom Out Mycology will be heading East to sample and sell our herbal mushroom teas at the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival.
The Mission of The Mushroom Festival is to promote the mushroom, educate consumers about the health benefits of mushrooms and to promote tourism in Southern Chester County, all while financially supporting local and regional charities through a grant process.
In 2014, because of Mushroom Festival supporters, the Mushroom Festival won #2 as the Best Specialty Food Festival in America in the Reader’s Choice/USA Today Travel contest. Gourmet Live (Gourmet Magazine‘s online resource) featured the Mushroom Festival as one of America’s Best Food Festivals. Travelocity voted The Mushroom Festival one of the top 10 festivals in Pennsylvania. We’re also featured on the Food Network’s All American Festival show.
The Mushroom Festival stretches about a mile and features culinary events, growing exhibits, many contests, children’s entertainment, and nearly 250 vendors with attendance calculated at up to 100,000 guests.
SARE Stakeholder Celebration
This celebratory event is a by-invitation-only thank you celebration open to those who helped to make this project possible. One of our main objectives will be equipping attendees with the knowledge to help promote our upcoming Fall and Winter SARE-funded mushroom cultivation workshops.
This gratitude themed event will feature Reishi teas, snacks and Zoom Out Mycology farm tour.
Lane County Fair
Zoom Out Mycology will be sampling and selling tins and cups of our herbal mushroom teas.
Excellent family fun, concerts, carnival rides, games and entertainment. All types of carnival rides will be at the fair, including a large Ferris Wheel to give you a bird's eye view of the fairgrounds and Eugene. Enjoy favorite food vendors with classic fair fare such as elephant ears, cotton candy, barbecue and so much ice cream. Browse the animal and agricultural exhibits, arts and crafts and expo hall. This year's creative exhibits include Beer & Wine, Floral, Food Preservation, Textiles, Photography and more. Horses, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits and poultry will be shown and judged for both adult and youth competition.

World Tea Expo
Zoom Out Mycology will be sampling and selling our herbal mushroom tea line (Zoom Out Mushroom Tea) at the 2021 World Tea Expo.
Retailers, tea shop owners, distributors, F&B directors, spa managers, specialty grocers, mass merchants and other business professionals attend the Expo to see high-quality tea suppliers and related vendors from 22 countries exhibiting new products and innovations.
